OSHA's construction advisory committee meets in Chicago on Feb. 17 to discuss occupational safety and health programs and policies that affect the construction industry.

OSHA's construction advisory committee will meet in Chicago on Feb. 17 to discuss occupational safety and health programs and policies that affect the construction industry.

The Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH) will meet at the Holiday Inn O'Hare International, 5440 North River Road in Rosemont, Ill., from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 17.

The agenda items include remarks by OSHA Administrator Charles N. Jeffress, work group updates on musculoskeletal disorders, fall protection, sanitation, and process safety management.

There will also be an open forum.

The following ACCSH work groups will meet on Feb. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: fall protection, 8-10 a.m.; multi-employer citation policy, 10:15-12:15 a.m.; sanitation 1-3 p.m.; and musculoskeletal disorders, 3:15-5:15 p.m.

The training workgroup will meet on Feb. 16 at the OSHA Training Institute in Des Plaines, Ill.

Written comments may be submitted along with 20 copies to the Department of Labor, OSHA, Room N-3647, 200 Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.

Those who wish to make an oral presentation should notify OSHA at (202) 693-2350 and indicate the amount of time desired, the interest represented and provide a brief outline of the presentation.
