New Special Interest Group Focuses on Indoor Air Quality

April 1, 2003
If you are a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and you have an interest in indoor environmental quality, then there is a new special interest group (SIG) just for you.

The SIG will handle such contentious topics as mold and microbial growth. The first meeting of the SIG will take place at the 64th annual American Industrial Hygiene conference and exposition (AIHce), planned for May 10-15 in Dallas.

The new IEQ SIG will complement the activities of AIHA's Indoor Environmental Quality Committee, but will provide for a much wider range of participants than is possible on a committee. All AIHA members are welcome to join the SIG.

The first meeting of the IEQ SIG will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Dallas, immediately following the AIHA symposium "Environmental Mold: State of the Science, State of the Art."
