OSHA to Provide EHS Training for Alabama Gulf Coast Construction Employers

OSHA will provide free safety and health training to employers on Friday, April 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT during the 3rd annual Gulf Coast Construction Safety Conference at the Greater Gulf Coast States Fairgrounds in Mobile.

Titled “Rebuilding the Coast ... Safely,” the conference is sponsored by OSHA, the American Society of Safety Engineers Mobile Chapter, the Alabama Chapter of the Associated General Contractors, the Alabama Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors and Training Solutions for Construction and Industry.

Exhibitors will offer products and services that support construction workplace safety and health programs. Meals and beverages, in addition to training, will be provided at no cost.

Participants are required to pre-register by contacting Jack Fecas at (251) 478-9152. He also is available to answer conference-related questions.
