National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) approval for use of the OptimAir TL powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) with tight-fitting facepiece. This PAPR may now be used for any number of job applications with loose-fitting hoods and tight-fitting facepieces, MSA said.
