Safety News Roundup: May in Review

May 28, 2021
What happened, what’s next and more as we review the month’s top headlines.

We know you want to make sure you’re following the latest guidance on COVID-19. We see it in our website metrics.

We also know that COVID-19 is only a part of the work you’re doing. You still need to make sure you’re keeping your workplace free from hazards and stay abreast of what’s happening in Washington with OSHA and the EEOC. And you still need to focus on the future, including technology that can predict and help prevent incidents from happening in the first place.

But at the end of the day, you are looking for ways to improve the basic tenents of workplace safety, such as delivering a safety message that resonates and creating a safety culture where workers learn how to protect themselves and respect others.

It’s a tough job, and we’re thankful that you do it. EHS Today will continue to help you the best way we know how: by providing you relevant and insightful information that makes doing your job (at least a smidge) easier.
