The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) has published a consumer brochure on home office safety, which discusses such topics as indoor air quality and choosing the correct computer chair.

"There''s No Place Like Home ... for Workplace Safety" addresses hazards both large and small that homebased office workers or self-employed workers may face.

AIHA President Jim Thornton said the group "wanted to offer some sound, common sense advice about home office safety."

The brochure is available at no charge from AIHA by calling (703) 849-8888.

It will be available in a Spanish-language edition in June, according to the association.
