OSHA fined Toldeo, Ohio-based Owens Corning $130,000 for safety violations at a plant in Denver following an amputation accident.
The accident, in which an employee''s arm had to be amputated, led to an inspection of the plant in February.
OSHA then cited the building supply maker for failing to guard sprocket wheels, chains, rotating parts, and belts and pulleys.
Owens Corning has 15 working days to request a meeting with OSHA or contest the citations and fine.
