Companies Recognized for Commitment to Home Safety

Hatfield, Pa.-based Franke Consumer Products Inc. was among several companies recognized for their commitment to home safety during the Home Safety Council's (HSC) inaugural Salute to Home Safety Awards Dinner on June 30 in Washington.

The event recognized corporations, congressional leaders and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the area of home safety nationally and locally.

Franke Consumer Products, Inc., formerly FHP Kindred USA, was presented with the Salute to Home Safety Excellence Award, which recognized the company for its Home Safety Awareness Program. The program was created to provide a means for disseminating safety information to its employees. The program addresses a variety of home safety topics and demonstrates the company's commitment to the safety of its employees and their families.

The Safety All-Star Award, which recognizes companies that encourage and support home safety programs through the workplace and honors individual achievement in making home safety an integral part of the corporate culture, went to:

  • Waterpik Technologies
  • Watts Water Technologies

"These honorees have demonstrated a strong commitment to helping keep families safe in and around their homes through the development of innovative safety products as well as the implementation of employee and consumer safety awareness programs."
