New Indoor Air Quality Standard Available

March 6, 2007
The third edition of ASTM Standards on Indoor Air Quality is available from ASTM International.

According to ASTM, the new compilation of standards is geared for indoor air investigators, researchers and those who manage air quality in buildings.
The new edition contains 55 of the latest ASTM standards that establish accurate and reliable methods and procedures for the sampling and analysis of indoor air quality data, ASTM says.

“The standards included offer a sound foundation for interpreting measurement results, thereby improving indoor air quality,” ASTM says. “The use of standardized methods yields results that can be compared meaningfully across different investigators and laboratories. The development of data on indoor air composition will contribute to the ultimate goal of creating healthier buildings.”
