According to a new white paper released by Honeywell, "Fogging is the number one problem faced by safety eyewear users... Fogging on untreated lenses is nearly impossible to avoid no matter where work is conducted, and it might seem like no big deal."

The white paper lists four factors related to temperature and humidity that cause fogging: environmental heat and humidity, worker exertion, transitions between warm and cool environments and lens washing.

Workers who remove their eyewear because of fogging are susceptible to eye injuries including those from falling objects, airborne particulate matter and splashing chemicals. So, selecting the right anti-fog glasses for your particular workplace situation is crucial to protecting your employees as well as productivity.
