ISEA Launches Online Career Center for Safety Equipment Industry

The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) announced that on Oct. 27, it will launch a new, online, interactive job board – the Safety Equipment Industry JobBase – to match qualified professionals with prospective employers.

The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) announced that on Oct. 27, it will launch a new, online, interactive job board – the Safety Equipment Industry JobBase – to match qualified professionals with prospective employers.

With its focus on safety equipment industry companies and professionals, the Safety Equipment Industry JobBase offers job seekers, ISEA member companies and the safety equipment industry at large an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.

“We’re very excited about Safety Equipment Industry JobBase, because we know how critical it is for employers in this industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources,” said ISEA President Daniel K. Shipp. “And it’s important to help enable smooth career transitions for those seeking industry jobs.”

The JobBase will be a free service for job seekers, providing access to employers and jobs in the safety equipment industry. In addition to posting resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria, and save those jobs for later review. Job seekers also can create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.

For ISEA members and other safety equipment companies, the JobBase will be a way to reach a targeted community of qualified, motivated candidates at a lower cost than other job boards. Because ISEA member companies will get a significant discount on job listings, the JobBase will represent another benefit of membership in the association.

Employers will be able to post jobs online, search for candidates based on specific job criteria and create online resume agents to get automated notification of qualified candidates. They also will be able to include information about their companies and a link to their Web site with every job posting. Easy online job management allows them to enter job descriptions, check the status of postings, renew or discontinue postings and even make payments online.

Starting Oct. 27, the JobBase will be accessible directly from ISEA’s home page at http://www.safetyequipment.org.
