Rick Barker, CPE, CSP | Senior Director of Solution Strategy | VelocityEHS

Rick Barker, Senior Director of Solution Strategy for VelocityEHS, supports the development of software products that empower users to improve their safety, resilience and sustainability. Rick also facilitates skill and knowledge-building activities for customers and internal staff relating to safety management systems, industrial ergonomics, human performance, and human factors. He assists clients in developing, implementing, evaluating, and improving their ergonomics and safety processes.

Since first joining the company in 1991, Rick has accumulated years of ergonomics and human factors consulting experience. He has also worked in a variety of positions with Inteva Products, Hill-Rom, and Unisys.

Rick holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Factors from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Safe Patient Handling Professionals. Rick has achieved recognition as a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
 

Phil Molé | EHS & ESG Expert | VelocityEHS

Phil Molé, EHS & ESG Expert for VelocityEHS, speaks at numerous conferences and organizations, and often presents webinars on EHS and ESG management topics.

He previously worked as a Global EHS Coordinator for a large manufacturing company, where he developed and facilitated training on a variety of subjects and managed the company’s ISO/OHSAS certifications. Phil has also worked as an environmental and safety regulatory consultant for approximately 13 years.

Phil has received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health Sciences from UIC in Chicago, Illinois.
