Nearly one out of four U.S. employees have experienced workplace violence—and in some industries, that number is even higher. That’s why organizations must take a proactive approach to prevent workplace violence incidents before they occur and respond effectively to mitigate harm if they do.

Matthew Doherty, Managing Director of Workforce Risk Management at Sikich, has decades of experience designing mitigation strategies to prevent workplace violence risks. In this webinar, Matthew joins Peter Steinfeld, SVP of Safety Solutions at AlertMedia, to share best practices for fostering violence-free workplaces with emphasis on identifying behavioral risks, policies for prevention and response, and managing the safety and wellbeing of impacted employees.

Key learning objectives:

  • How to develop a holistic workplace violence prevention program that advances readiness and resiliency
  • How to identify warning signs or concerning behaviors that could lead to an act of violence
  • How to create clear reporting systems and procedures
  • The primary components of a comprehensive workplace violence response plan and how to execute it
