James Mallon, MBA, MSc, CPE is the Chief Executive Officer of PureEHS, where he leads the company's strategy, growth initiatives, and continued investment in employee health and safety solutions. He was appointed CEO in 2026, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in the environmental, health, safety, and ergonomics software industry.
Prior to joining PureEHS, James served as Chief Revenue Officer of VelocityEHS, where he led global operations and helped drive the company's growth and market expansion. Earlier in his career, he held executive leadership roles at Humantech, including Vice President and Ergonomics Engineer, partnering with leading organizations across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and other industrial sectors to improve workplace performance, safety, and employee well-being. Humantech was subsequently acquired by VelocityEHS, helping create one of the industry's leading EHS and ergonomics software p.
James earned a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He also completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) and has been a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the American Society of Safety Professionals.
