Working with Gen Z, OSHA Violations and Addressing Burnout: What You’re Reading in February

Feb. 24, 2023
A look at some of the month’s most popular stories, as determined by readers.

I don't know about you, but February has felt interminable, as bad as or worse than January. And my area has hardly seen snow accumulation. Yesterday, it was 65 degrees Fahrenheit. It felt strange to walk out the door without my winter parka. Is this what living in California is like? Except right now, of course, since they're getting the snow that my area would!

The absence of my traditional winter hibernation means that I am not hunkered down and focused on big projects to start once spring officially arrives. It feels like I'm already in the midst of them. I always appreciate the first few months of the year because it gives me a chance to recover from the holidays and prepare for year ahead. Our team is already busy at work on some of the programs you've come to know and love from EHS Today, including our annual Safety Leadership Conference (the call for speakers is underway) and America's Safest Companies competition.

However your spending your days, I hope you are safe and well.

In the meantime, enjoy some of our most popular stories of the month, as determined by you.
