Replacing hazardous materials with safer ones is an important strategy for protecting workers and the environment.

OSHA expects to have its draft ergonomics plan ready by the end of February, OSHA sources said on Thursday. The agency will post the proposal on its web site at www.osha.gov.

The long-awaited draft will give an indication of where the agency is heading with an ergonomics standard.
