Linda Spellmon, PE, CET, and Suresh Chandnani, PE, CHMM, have joined ENSR International, a leading environmental and energy development services firm. They will be part of ENSR's Southern Region industrial permitting and EHS compliance initiative. Spellmon is a senior project manager based in Norcross, Ga., and Chandnani is a program manager based in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Spellmon has 16 years of experience in environmental compliance management, policy/protocol development, audits, regulatory negotiations, and permitting. As a certified environmental trainer, she has developed and presented environmental, health and safety training (EHS) for major industrial clients. At ENSR she is focusing on helping leading US chemical and manufacturing companies ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Chandnani, a certified hazardous materials manager, is managing multi-media environmental projects for ENSR. Over the past 25 years, Chandnani has worked as an environmental regulator, an environmental manager in industry, a senior environmental consultant, a process design engineer, and a chemical plant operations engineer, specializing in air quality and RCRA permitting/compliance, pollution prevention system design, and risk assessment.
"Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Management is an integral part of our clients' operations that impacts every one of their business units," says Martin Smith, ENSR's southeastern business development manager. "The addition of Linda Spellmon and Suresh Chandnani enhances ENSR's ability to provide for the full range of compliance, auditing, and permitting needs of our clients in the southeast and nationwide."
