DEI Enforcement, America’s Safest Companies of 2025 and Microtraining: What You’re Reading This Month
August has come to a close and, with it, there’s a feeling of change in the air.
As a result, I’ve been reflecting on some idioms and platitudes about change. I’ve found few helpful. I suppose there’s a reason why the field of change management exists.
The one thought that consoles me is that most of us are experiencing change in some form or another. Some change we seek out, and some change finds us. But we’re all just trying our best to evolve, adapt, grow, cope or persist.
I recently got together with a few friends, and some of our struggles came up in conversation. All were different. All were difficult. All we could do is show up for each other. I was eager to help them, and it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulder at their offers of help.
As fall approaches, I encourage you to think about how you can support others, including your colleagues. With each passing day, I am more convinced that the only way we can succeed—or navigate change—is with each other.
Until next time, be safe, be healthy and be kind!
