In his latest blog post for EHS Today, 2010 Future Leader in EHS Jason Townsell describes how the ALARA principle is used to manage occupational radiation exposure.

Townsell calls the ALARA principle “the most simple and effective principle of worker protection from radiation” and discusses its three components of protection – limiting time, maintaining distance and shielding.
