People get injured at work and at play. Whether injuries occur on the sports field or the production floor of an industrial company, they need evaluations and triage. They need expert preventative care and support. Healthcare needs to happen outside of doctors’ offices and emergency rooms, we started Healthy Roster.
We wanted to create a better system for logging, tracking and communicating around athlete injuries. And the primary healthcare provider for those sports and industrial athletes is the often overlooked Athletic Trainer. They’ve dedicated their lives to delivering healthcare wherever the athletes operate and they are often far more engaged in the lives of their athletes than any other healthcare provider.
They spend countless hours on the “field” attending to high school, college and professional athletes and their injuries. They spend time in facilities as workers rush to produce goods and keep our economy moving. But they didn’t have the tools or systems to help them optimize their abilities on the field.
So we set out to not only build a great sports medicine EMR, but we also made sure it was a mobile-first platform - because that’s where they do their job. Now athletic trainers in all environments can easily log, track and communicate right where the action is taking place. And we're all better for that - athletes, coaches, parents, employees and organizations.
That’s what healthcare outreach is all about - being where you’re needed, whenever there’s an injury that needs attention.
At Healthy Roster, we care about athletic trainers because we care about healthcare outreach. Athletic trainers are the key to delivering care on a field or in a warehouse or on the assembly line. They keep our communities healthy and safe and performing at their best. We’re proud to support their mission to enhance healthcare wherever they need to be.
