2020 Safety Leadership Conference Call for Speakers Now Open

Jan. 30, 2020
Interested in speaking at this year's Safety Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, Nov.10-12? The deadline for proposals is March 15, 2020.

EHS Today’s Safety Leadership Conference is the premier education and networking opportunity for leaders in occupational safety and health, compliance and risk management. The 2020 Safety Leadership Conference will be held Nov. 10-12, 2020 in Scottsdale, Arizona at the DoubleTree Resort Paradise Valley.

The most important element of the Safety Leadership Conference is the educational component contributed by the experts speaking in our five tracks: safety and risk management, compliance, construction and safety technology. Our newest track this year is fleet safety.

Compliance:

A presidential election date on the horizon potentially could impact safety standards and regulations and radically change the landscape of EHS compliance. Speakers in this track offer their insights into what safety leaders need to know to ensure their organizations remain in compliance with the latest rules and regulations.

Construction:

This track focuses on the demanding task of managing construction site safety. EHS professionals from construction companies as well as industry professionals who have helped fine-tune the safety culture at small-, medium- and large construction firms share their tips for improving construction site safety, from increasing employee engagement, to using technology to help manage safety and developing programs for aspects of construction such as fall protection and PPE.

Fleet Safety:

This new track focuses on programs and best practices that keep drivers, technicians, other employees and the general public safe. From complying with drivers’ hours of service rules to collision-prevention efforts, this track focuses on how fleets can reduce risk, stay in compliance with regulations, and improve operating efficiency.

Safety & Risk Management:

In this track, EHS and risk management professionals offer their insights about safety leadership and establishing a safety culture, whether it be at a single facility level or throughout an entire corporation. Winners of the America's Safest Companies awards are featured, along with safety professionals from other leading companies and organizations who share lessons learned and best practices in risk management.

Safety Technology:

Learn how the latest in safety technology can be integrated into the workplace to reduce injuries and illnesses. From identifying and tracking leading indicators via software, sensors and IoT, to state-of-the-art production improvements, to futuristic robotics, this track offers a look at the future of safe work.

If you are an EHS professional and would like to share your professional experiences and program successes with our audience, we encourage you to respond to our Call for Presenters.

We particularly would like to hear from you if your company is a previous winner of the America’s Safest Companies award.

The deadline for applications for speakers is March 15, 2020. You may submit your application by filling out the form at this link or alternately by mail or email.

All presentations must be non-proprietary and cannot mention specific goods or services.

If you are a provider of safety equipment or services, your proposal must include a co-presenter who is a client/customer and is willing to take the lead role in the presentation. This includes safety consultants. You must provide contact information for that co-presenter.

In submitting a proposal, please follow the instructions at this link.
