Leading the Way: Highlights from Safety Leadership Conference 2025

Glendale, Ariz., was the site of EHS Today’s14th annual Safety Leadership Conference (SLC 2025). Taking as its theme “Leading the Way,” the conference hosted hundreds of EHS professionals, solution providers and thought leaders, as well as representatives from the winners of the 2025 America’s Safest Companies Award.

SLC 2025 featured keynote presentations from Coca-Cola Consolidated’s Dennis Padgett, Discover Leadership Training’s Michael Jones, and a panel of America’s Safest Company winners: Mike Ellis (Apollo Mechanical), Mary Gurasich (Mangan), and Keith Kluger (KBR). There were also 12 sessions organized into four topic areas: Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, The ROI of Safety, and Training & Engagement. Plus four workshops, a tabletop expo, and numerous networking events.

Another highlight of SLC 2025 was an award ceremony and reception honoring the six winners of the 2025 America’s Safest Companies awards.
