    The VPP Office of the Virginia Department of Labor & Industry offers a list of tips to keep your family and pets safe during fireworks on the Fourth of July.

    Sparklers can burn up to 2,000 degrees. Bottle rockets can take out an eye or do other grievous harm if aimed at another person. M-80s can blow off a hand. Watch this video, made in 2016, by the U.S. Consumer product Safety Commission  to learn more.
