Voluntary Protection Program Participants’ Association (VPPPA) Safety+ Symposium attendees heard about the top 10 elements from Nancy Mugavero, OSHA Region V VPP manager.

"Sites with stellar safety and health management programs enjoy increased production and morale, along with decreased absenteeism and turnover," she said.

The reoccurring theme of worker involvement and engagement rang loudly throughout Mugavero's presentation. She stressed the importance of making sure input is received and taken seriously.
