Avetta and BROWZ, two competing providers of risk management software solutions, have announced plans to combine forces into a new entity, which will retain the Avetta name.
As a result of the transaction Avetta will expand its global network to 85,000 customers in over 100 countries in the $14 billion global marketplace for supply chain risk management solutions. Both companies are located in Utah. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Avetta and BROWZ combine more than three decades of experience in making industries safer, more sustainable and compliant by vetting and qualifying the suppliers that support their global clients. Avetta and BROWZ’s 450 combined clients include companies in industry verticals such as energy, chemicals, manufacturing, utilities, construction materials, facilities management, communications, transportation, logistics & retail, mining, aerospace & defense and food & beverage.
John Herr, CEO of Avetta, will lead the combined company, Elaine Beitler, CEO of BROWZ, will reportedly leave the new company following a transitional period.
