Full-time college students working toward careers in safety, health and environmental programs are eligible for the free NSC memberships, with benefits including opportunities to network with seasoned safety and health leaders, career development activities, the latest on industry news, an annual subscription to Safety+Health magazine and access to members-only educational resources.
NSC also created a special portal so faculty who teach future safety professionals can order desk copies of books, access a complete list of NSC Press books and obtain industry news.
Both of these new programs support NSC’s College & University Initiative, which targets professors, students and campus safety professionals in the higher education arena.The initiative also offers student award programs, including a Research Poster Award Program sponsored by the Campbell Institute and a Student Ambassador Award Program, each held annually at the NSC Congress & Expo.
