AIHA New Online Certificate Programs Offers Convenient Learning

The American Industrial Hygiene Association has announced the launch of two new professional assessment-based certificate programs, the latest addition to the Association's existing eLearning education and training resources.

AIHA's certificate programs offer training on specialized IH/OH topics that are aligned with the technical frameworks outlined in the corresponding AIHA Bodies of Knowledge. Participants receive a certificate after completing the online course and passing an online assessment. The goal is to educate or train participants to achieve specified learning outcomes and recognize those who have achieved them.

"These programs are aimed at professionals who actively seek out best practices and ways to improve their knowledge and expertise in their respective field. We believe the flexibility of the online format will appeal to busy professionals, who can receive the same practical training while maintaining their work commitments," says Alla Orlova, AIHA's managing director of education and technical initiatives.

The two new certificate programs are the following:

The certificate programs are convenient for working professionals who need to fit continuing education into their busy schedules. Through these programs, participants will gain skills that they can apply to their daily work and provide tangible proof that they have achieved specialized knowledge. While certification maintenance points can be earned from completing a certificate program, AIHA certificate programs do not award certifications.
