With extensive experience in management systems certification and operational leadership, business strategy, and market expansion, Dr. Onus has played a pivotal role in driving DEKRA’s mission to make the world a safer and sustainable place. Under his leadership, DEKRA has expanded its sustainability services in the Americas, supporting businesses in adopting sustainable practices.

David Jonas | Vice President of Sustainability Services | DEKRA North America

David is a sustainability expert with over 15 years of experience helping organizations worldwide—from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies—achieve their sustainability goals. He specializes in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and verification, supporting efforts to measure, track, and reduce carbon footprints. Passionate about transparency and accountability in combating climate change, David also led the development of the BIFMA e3 Sustainability Standard as Chair of its committee for seven years.

He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an M.B.A. from Grand Valley State University.

Laetitia Carle is the Chief Operating Officer and Directrice Générale France at Greenly, a leading climate tech start-up focused on making carbon footprinting accessible and actionable for companies worldwide.

After beginning her career in Technology investment banking, where she advised tech leaders in their expansion, she transitioned into the climate-tech sector, driving Greenly’s mission to support over 3,000 companies across more than a dozen countries - including notable names like Payfit, Seaworld, and LVMH - in decarbonizing their operations.

Recognized among France’s Forbes 30 Under 30, Laetitia has also been elected to the board of France Digitale, where she champions impact, international scaling, and the advancement of women in tech. Her leadership at Greenly, a certified B Corp, has been central to managing large-scale climate commitments, including an ambition to manage 1 billion tons of CO2e.
