Poll: What Effect will the Trump Administration Have on Workplace Safety?

April 29, 2025
As safety agencies, including OSHA and EPA, are undergoing changes, what's your take on this?

On the day President Trump began his term, he issued a presidential memorandum, Regulatory Freeze Pending Review, directing “all executive departments and agencies” to refrain from proposing or issuing “any rule in any manner” until a department or agency head appointed or designated by the president reviews and approves the rule.

According to an analysis from Ogletree Deakins, OSHA’s Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings rulemaking and the Emergency Response Standard rulemaking come under this review.

We've also reported on changes that will be made at the EPA.

So EHS Today decided to ask its audience of environmental health professionals what they thought about the impact of all these changes.
