Happy Halloween!

I’m excited for the ghouls, goblins and cutest lil’ pumpkins to come trick-or-treating tonight. I’ve been traveling for work (Safety Leadership Conference 2025, which was a smashing success) and for leisure the past week and a half, so I have to dash to the grocery store during my lunch hour today.

I’ll get a few of those mixed chocolate bags—and a bag of potatoes. When my friend first told me about the popularity of potatoes a couple years ago, I balked. But, it’s a bona fide trend now, and The Wall Street Journal published a delightful story yesterday.

Whether you’ve been ready with candy and costume for weeks like my friend, or you’re making a last-minute attempt like me, I hope you get some sweet treats this spooky season, with a trick or two to keep you on your toes.

Until next time, stay safe, be well and be kind!
