11 Presumed Dead in Paper Mill Explosion
On April 27, AP issued a report saying that the death toll from a chemical tank that erupted at the Nippon Dynawave Packaging Co. in Longview, Washington, which occurred on May 26, is presumed to be 11. A second person has died from injuries and 9 are missing and presumed dead.
The plant, which makes material for tissues, printing paper, cups, plates, and cartons, employs around 1,000.
